Avengers - "Chilling Conclusion" - Exit Mission?

Does anyone know how to exit the "Chilling Conclusion" mission?

My characters aren't strong enough to finish this level, but I also can't figure out how to exit this mission so that I can do some other missions and tasks in the Avengers playset to increase their skill levels. Unfortunately, the last time I saved the game it was when playing this mission, so every time I exit and restart the game, it automatically loads and commences this mission.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the part where you are fighting Loki? If so, just dodge his attacks and get up close to him. Ranged attacks don't work.

I'm not sure. At the moment, I'm stuck on a giant-sized frost giant (only the upper half is out of the ground). I only have two characters for my profile and they're just not strong/skilled enough to defeat the giant, but I can't seem to exit this mission to go and do some others to increase my skills.

@Agent 87 Can you bring up your mission log while in that battle?

Ah, we had a hard time with that boss too. If you roll/dodge his attacks and attack his hands when he slams the ground, he can be taken down by lower level characters. Sorry, apart from starting a new game, I am not sure how to quit this mission without beating him.

I managed to co-opt a couple of extra characters and with all four, I survived long enough to defeat the giant-sized frost giant.

@ MightyGitis - Yes, I could access the mission log, but I couldn't select any other missions. The game was "stuck" on this mission, no matter how many times I exited the game it would always automatically re-start the "Chilling Conclusion" mission.

I got nervous after this boss took out all 6 of my Avengers... I found it pretty funny that it was none other than Rocket Raccoon that saved Manhattan from this Ice Giant and he was only level 1!

That giant is a "5 year old killer"

Was playing with my son, who doesn't dodge, but likes to fight and he burned through almost all of our characters while I was trying to beat this giant. Think we both had a sliver a health left when he dropped on our first try.
