Wait, are they making that mistake again?
There's a game called Borderlands which is played on PC PS3 and xBox.
And as you can imagine, the players are kinda annoyed they're "game system locked".
I.E. PC players can only play with PC players, PS3 players with PS3 players and so on.
In essence, you have 3 seperate games and they never meet each other.
In Borderlands, it's especially problematic since you can loot trade and well, what if a PS3 player has an item they want to trade to a PC player or play with said player?
I'm hoping they learn from Gearbox's mistake and make it a truly unified game, where console doesn't matter.
It would be technically complicated to make happen, but it can't be that hard, since we're all using the same game engine and will all be connected through the internet.
I'm uncertain if it's possible to link consoles together if they're near each other physically, I'm not much interested in console games.
