Not getting sparks for Incredibles challenges

I'm not getting any sparks for completing challenges in the Incredibles playset on the PS3, just 25 coins per challenge, regardless of difficulty, with any character. Is this a known issue, and is anyone else having this problem? And of course, does anyone know how to fix it?
