Comments on toy story playset

What is your opinion of the toy story playset

I'm really digging it so far. The environments are great, and they really worked hard to make it feel accurate.

I'm excited to try it, I haven't picked it up yet because I'm switching my Wii version to the Wii U so I'm going to hold off until I do that

What is using the jet pack like in toy box? I love dive bombing with the Glide Pack... don't have the Crow Pack yet... so I'm wondering if the Jet Pack is the definitive way to get around the toy box without a mount.

I may be missing something, but you can only fly horizontally with it. It bugs me that I can't steer up or down with it. It's fast flying, but I wouldn't use the word "definitive". I'll take the Incredicopter instead.

^ Wow. That's kinda lame actually... I guess with the jetpack on you are more like the Rocketeer than Iron Man then. So I guess the crow wing pack is the best one probably.

^ the crow wing pack is nice but the jetpack is a lot faster.

And in the toy story play set you also unlock the star command boost pack which shoots you up vertically, set them both to your left and right defaults and you can pretty much get anywhere! XD

^ Separate controls for pitch and yaw... that sounds complicated... like Tom Hanks and Bill Paxton trying to keep the Earth in their viewfinder will doing a manual burn in space in Apollo 13... type of complicated. Actually, I just saw the vid Sheriff Woody posted using the boost and jet packs in the Toy Story toy box though... the jet pack looks and sounds pretty cool... I am actually more disappointed in the boost pack.

Ok So i just completed the TSiS play set, and it was done very well. I must say though, those were some of the toughest challenges to date IMO, especially the ones involving a mount. Overall, it was fun though.
