Do we get to see building interiors?

Postby buckmana » Sat May 04, 2013 10:17 am

I've been wondering about this.

I know in Sandbox mode, we can make building interiors.

But what about the existing buildings?
Especially the ones in worlds.

The one thing that annoyed me most about the Cars game was you just drove around the outside of the buildings, there was no way to go inside them.

So, I was wondering, if we happen to be standing outside the Incredibles' home, do we get to go inside and explore?
Given that we never really saw their replacement home after it got destroyed, I'm curious to see their new home now.

And here's something you may find interesting, this is a part of their house we never got to see during the movie:

It's Violet's room.

I started a thread about this a while ago, but Sherrif thought I was asking if we could make interiors.

please forgive my confusion Jbot123

within Infinity there are some buildings, such as Scrooge McDuck's bank, that have an Infinity button on them, this indicates that the building can be entered

@Sherrif Woody, not to argue with you but the infinity button means that the building can move it's parts around. The button on the money bin opens the roof as a secret passage to the vault, and the button on Flo's folds parts of the roof over to create a ramp.

lol, no worries, i don't do arguments anyway ;)

my understanding is that the Infinity button on a building indicates that you can interact with the building ... for example as a means of getting inside ... that said, i have watched so many videos and read so many posts it could be something that my own imagination has pieced together to amuse itself :?

maybe someone from Avalanche SLC will be able to clarify things? (if it doesn't breach their NDA)

I think you are both right! "Interact with" and "move it's parts" are basically the same meaning in this instance, just a matter of semantics.

I hope every building has an interior. It's that kind of content-crammed experience that makes an open world game good.

I don't think Ralph's stump actually has anything inside it, otherwise he'd be living in there instead of just using it as a pillow.
