Disney Infinity is Ceasing Operations in June

We are actually talking about cancelling our Disney trip in November. No joke. Very very disappointed.

I wish there was enough people out there cancelling trips to cause a stir, but Disney is too strong of a draw for most people to give up. If you do end up cancelling then I commend you, but I hope you go and have some fun. Disneyland or Walt Disney World?

Why would you do that? The parks have nothing to do with the game or the cancellation of it...

Cancelling a trip won't do much to the Disney bottom line. Cancel if you feel you must to make a statement but realize you will be missing out on a great time.

We were just in Walt Disney World for a 10 days with the kids. My wife and I are going back next month for our anniversary.

I should point out that we have DVC points that are going to expire and bought annual passes three years ago (half the price they are now). The trips only cost food and transportation.

We know that one person cancelling won't make a difference. It has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I won't enjoy the trip as much as I should. 7 stages of grieving I guess first world problems.

You should go and have fun. Make some new happy Disney memories to replace the sad ones! Cancelling won't hurt anyone but you. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

You're not alone GonnaWreckIt. My wife and I always take an 'alone' second trip to the mouse, usually for 2 weeks sometime after taking the family summer trip with our son and parents. This year, we have to do it as we already booked airfare months ago but for next year we already made up our minds to vacation elsewhere.

Disney Infinity wasn't the only reason, we've seen changes we don't like at Disney for a few years now, but this was simply the icing on the cake.

So there are others out there like us I am sure that will speak with their wallets and send Disney a message, no matter how small and insignificant an impact it is upon them.

In all honesty, it is just talk at this point. Seeing the disappointment on the kids faces when I told them that Dory and Nemo were the last two figures was tough. The joy that I got from bringing home new characters for them. Well, mostly them.... I am a huge Disney nut and I am sure we will still be there in November. But it still makes me feel better for now when I say we aren't going. Kind of like a kid at a play ground taking his ball and going home.

I'll throw in that I'm just about done with Disney as well. I've been one of those fans, the ones that defend every bad movie, every mean practice... stuck with 'em through thick and thin.

Cancelling Wander Over Yonder really shook me, and cancelling Infinity was the last straw.
