My Favorite parts of the Comic are when Calvin makes snowmen or pretends to be Spaceman Spiff or Stupendous Man!

Calvin and Hobbs is classic. Very enjoyable.

Quite possibly three of the funniest(-clever) things I've ever read or seen were C&H strips.

1. Popcorn, and the comment "that was more fun than exploding a potato in the microwave."*
2. Bubblegum, and the comment "I think I just blew my face inside out"
3. Calvin's Dad taking requests for bedtime reading material, and getting Superman comics.

Bill Watterson is a genius. I'm sad he stopped, sad he doesn't do interviews and sad (if financially relieved!) he doesn't sanction merchandise.

I am incredibly happy that the COMPLETE CALVIN AND HOBBES is available, though. Now in paperback, and almost affordable..!

Oh, also... "a boy and his tiger"..?! It's deeply resonant existential philosophy!

OH MY GOSH I LOVE CALVIN AND HOBBES IVE READ ALL THE BOOKS AND OWN THE COMPLETE SERIES!!

ME TOO! Its so hilarious what calvin imagines! Especially when he Imagined that a giant Tidal Wave was about to flood stupidopolis!

True! What is your favorite Calvin and Hobbes Comic and/or Storyline? Mine Includes the Tidal Wave Destroying Stupidopolis, Attack of the Deranged Mutant Monster Snow Goons, all the Captain Spiff comics where Ms. Wormwood is the Villain, Wierdos from another planet, His School essay which ended up involving Susie Derkins and Dinosaurs which got him an F on the Essay , anytime he Imagines the real world as something else, his snow sculptures & more!

I'd have to say my favourite stories are whenever Calvin pretends he's Stupendous Man or Spaceman Spiff!
