You will need to cut out the whole hexagon shape, as well as the player and playset slots. I use a ruler and blade from an exacto knife for all of the straight cuts, and for the circles, I use a circle cutter for clean results..

http://goo.gl/twQYSqFeel free to use your favorite photo paper, or even regular paper if you want. Also, a circle cutter isn't required. My first few I made, and traced around a can of "Pam cooking spray" with an exacto blade. It's really up to you.
