Adscan Custom Figure Portal.

Postby Adscan » Sat Sep 14, 2013 12:08 pm

Since I have had some interest I am wondering how many people would rather I focus on a custom figure/playset portal base when I get the POTC base finished?

Also I would love it if everyone could describe what they would like it to be or show.
I'm thinking we could design a base protector/holder as a community and come up with something special.

If I had something as a base protector, I'd want it to fit the official one for extra protection, and ideally, mine'd be Andy's toybox.

MTM has hit the nail firmly on the head. Not only does it represent these forums, through the Toy Story theme, it also fits with the games "Toy" style.

I would really like to see this made. My idea for this would be to see the toy chest open in the background of the base and for the Infinity Base to slot into a space that represents the floor of Andy's room. Would represent the toys coming out of the toy chest and coming alive when placed on the floor and into the child's imagination (ie the videogame).

Basically the hole for the base is surrounded by wooden floorboards with it extending to the top left of where the base would lie and coming up to have the cloud covered wall. In front of this would be the open toy chest.

Make sense? I'm looking forward to see this develop.
MPK for short.

And maybe if it could be big enough, figures could be stored under a hinged bottom. Ideally, Rex could be a figure, too, peeking over the rim...

This is a great concept!
I'm going to look at how this can be developed at my end.
The toybox at the back is a fantastic idea.
