I thought post shutdown people would continue to build and share video links of their creations. - No offence, but how many people actually re-played other people's games that much anyway? Most are only worth a quick bash.
But for the community to literally dwindle to nothing is heart breaking. I still haven't finished Battlegrounds, Dory, Inside out, Monsters inc or Incredibles. I think it was the lack of more figures to collect, or the lack of future playsets that turned people off, not the server loss. - The true essence of the game is it's 'toybox' creation mode, which is still there in all it's astounding glory. Are we still not building for fun?
Being from a gaming generation where there was no online connectivity, playing alone or next to someone ( the best way ) was the only way.
More than anything I miss John and Allison on Toybox TV...
