Curse of the Button Masher

Even when hardwired to the PS4, one of them does not work at all, the other has half of the controls disabled. They've worked fine since last fall. My best guess at the source is the static electricity from the dry air & the carpet shuffling (too many sparks of imagination, maybe 
). Lesson learned - don't drag your feet on Toy Box creation! Purchased a third controller, back in business. My family disagrees with my theories. My daughter had two words before breaking into laughter: Button Masher
