I can't see anyone wearing that in public!
At least, not on it's own.
Also, it appears to cover the face, that may be a concern.
I know in some places (banks, passport control at airports, basically, anywhere that is security conscious), they won't let you hide your face if you come into the secured area.
So I wouldn't be surprised if you wore the head concealment, some police officer or security personnel would order you to lie face down on the ground with your hands behind your back.
How do you see and breathe in that thing anyway?
A black one would be good for stage performance though, particularly ones where the performers need to be unseen.
I did a performance like that once, I was holding a puppet (well, part of it, the other performers were holding the rest) and was covered head to toe in black to make me "invisible" to the audience.
And yes, I did have trouble breathing properly in the black mask, the first thing I did when the performance ended was to pull the mask off and take a deep breath!
It was a bit hard to see as well, I had to control the puppet parts I was holding mostly from memorizing the movements.
