Well, fun may not be the best word. Fun if you're a fan of Germany, and boring if you just watch it, like me!

holy cow, what a game...
i also don't think fun is the right word.

I am German, and till the 2:0 I was just happy to see what was happening.
then after the 3rd and 4th goal coming in so quickly, it suddenly felt a bit weird, unbelievable, and also really sad for Brazilian people.
a big collective dream crushed in a few minutes.

obviously the Brazilian players where totally not themselves yesterday.

I can only do guesswork here, but I think they where just under too much pressure, and also highly paralyzed by the neymar accident/foul (choose yourself), and the worries for the health of their teammate.
they all been praying for him, weared base caps with his name before the game, and wanted to make a big dream come true - winning wc in the own country...
all in all a heavy burden, a too big burden that day.

I would have preferred a game vs. a complete Brazilian team in top form, which would IMO have been a totally different game.

but of course, it's still super cool to see our team in the finals this year, and hopefully winning (and maybe winning vs. our neighbors from the Netherlands ;) )

I, as a Dutch person, think Germany will beat us in the finals ....

But I honestly think NED-SPA was a better match than GER-BRA

I agree daan, even though I have not seen the game vs. Spain.

but as I tried to describe, it was rather the collapse and blackest day of a big team, then a good game yesterday.

I will not try to predict any outcome of a possible final, but best of luck vs. Argentinia, and then let's have a big final party and great game ;)

As a native Canadian, I have no idea why the World Cup is this popular now. It was seldom discussed before this year.
