The Legend of Zelda (Series General)

I really like the art style of Hyrule warriors. I've only ever played Oot and Wind Waker. Never beaten either I can't get the giants wallet for Zora Tunic in Ooc, or find my sword in Forsaken Fortress. UGH.....

Aonuma wants to take fan reaction into account while developing Zelda Wii U

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma made some comments during interviews at E3 which initially suggested that the character featured in the new game for Wii U could be female. Eventually though, his remarks were clarified.

Aonuma spoke about the situation with EDGE this month and told the magazine, “this reaction from the fans is something I would like to take into consideration as we proceed with development”. He was quick to clarify, however: “that doesn’t mean that we are going to change the main character to a girl.”

Rather unexpectedly, after I mentioned that no one had explicitly said that it was Link [in the trailer], this speculation spread online and seems to have led to the idea that the main character will be a girl. Official site of Hyrule Warriors is now live!

I have a great idea for Zelda Wii U! It was mentioned they wanted the new game to be "more then a singleplayer experience". So my idea is two players control Link and Zelda as they travel the world of Hyrule. Therefore, I took it upon myself to design a Wii U version of Zelda.
