New 3DS / 3DS XL

who is preordering one of these? the stock situation at retail for the Zelda edition seems chaotic, everyone canceling orders bc Nintendo revising how much launch stock they will have. I ordered the MH4 bunble, so hope that still works out. also looking forward to Codename STEAM, and revisitng some older games like RE Revelations with the new C-stick.

I like the look of them, I'll get one buy not anytime soon. Probably around the holidays when there cheaper lol

I'm hyped for it, but I might wait on getting it just in case some more cooler variants of them come out.

Had to send in my New 3DS XL to Nintendo for repairs the DAY I got it, multiple dead/stuck pixels. Apparently, lots of defective units this launch, also reports of manufacturing residue being left, as with the Disney Infinity figures such as Baymax.

I'm gonna hold of getting one of these until a handful of must own titles come out for this system. Xenoblade and amiibo suport does not justify a purchase for me.

@ronniedobbs That stinks. That happened to my friend aswell. That is a reason I never buy systems on launch.

well, I ordered the Monster Hunter 4 limited edition, so I had no choice really.

I got a red New 3DS on Friday, and transferred my data from my 'old' 3DS yesterday. So far, I like it.

Is it worth paying the extra for the new 3ds? Can pick up the old xl for £100 new in UK but the new 3ds is about £150

Is the difference just it has faster processing and the c stick?
