There are also new Z shoulder buttons, and an even more annoying SD card.

So I got the New 3DS today and I have to say I really like it.
However, if you already have a 3DS (I didn't), then I would say wait for a price drop or until the next handheld comes out with greater differences.
The C-stick is really nice and comfortable, and the 3D is so much better (I have my brother's old 3DS to compare to).
I have yet to try out the new Amiibo scanner as I only have two games (Majora's Mask and a Link between Worlds) and they don't use amiibo.

I had the 3DS XL and switched to New 3DS XL. I'm still extremely happy with the changes so you don't really need to wait for a pricedrop. Depends from person to person.
