Lego Dimensions

Two things would cause me to immediately sign on to buy this: Doctor Who and Ghostbusters.

@MightyGitis I was thinking the exact same thing about Doctor Who, I would love that to make an appearance I thought this was very plausible considering Lego sets were teased earlier this year! I'm somewhat already sold on Lego Movie, Wizard of Oz and Back to the Future though.

In terms of people 'jumping ship'... Don't jump to conclusions just yet people, we haven't seen much Gameplay for Dimensions, nor do we even really know anything official about Infinity 3.0 either! Regardless I'm pretty sure I'll be collecting dimensions alongside Infinity and Amiibo. (god help my wallet)

This looks incredible. How many franchises have been announced/speculated? Let's see, DC, The Lego Movie, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Ghost Busters, The Wizard of Oz, The Simpsons, even Scooby Doo?! Wow. Just, wow.

I kept telling my wallet it'll all be worth it. It has yet to have any reason to agree.

I hope Chima and City are in this too... Not sure what the figures for City would be, though. Maybe Chase McCain, a miner, and a firefighter. The vehicles would probably be a police car and fire truck.

I love how so many people here are saying they are leaving Infinity, because I know how this goes.

-Says they are leaving game franchise finally
-New game comes out with awesome new features
-They are back

Happens all the time with Call of Duty.
Avalanche has learned their lesson so with LEGO now joining the game,
I think Avalanche is forced to up their game in quality to compete.
In a way, this LEGO game is also good for Disney Infinity.

I will personally get both 3.0 and Lego Dimensions.
However, I most definitely will not be collecting all the Lego characters, as I have said.
Way too much on top of Infinity.

I also find $100 a ridiculous price.
Disney Infinity has much more detailed figures and even includes more content in the starter pack
and yet this game costs $25 more...

Who is that character in the wild west setting? I think it's a DC villain but I don't know his name... Reading here that people have possibly spotted Scooby-Doo on that one box is very cool, would be great if that franchise gets in too. Definitely possible since it's a property owned by Warner Bros. and Lego sets are already announced. I hope for some Looney Tunes too! And maybe they will finally add Watchmen, they have always neglected that DC comic in the Lego games.

My first reaction was "Oh no!" - though a positive one. I love Lego and to get Back to the future and characters like Gollum, Wonderwoman or the Bad Cop makes it worth it for me. Pre-ordered immediately.
Still working out how to balance my finances, though, with DI 3.0 on the horizont...

Can. Hav a list on who is actually definately not getting Infinity 3.0 and leaving the whole game for dimensions please? I really don't want sooo many people to leave just because 2.0 was not that good for you and now this is here! I bet 3.0 will be better than 2.0!
