Thinking about a few games, which should I get?

So, I saw Legend of Kay Anniversary on the Wii U eShop and, of course, I needed to get it.
Now I have some money leftover on my eShop account, so I was thinking of getting another game.
I'm torn between getting:
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
Shovel Knight
Or biding my time and waiting until Octodad releases on the Wii U.
What do you guys think?

Shovel Knight is a phenomenal game. Highly reccomended.

I think you should get a PS4
Sorry, couldn't resist....I almost got Legend of Kay for my PS4, but the reviews seemed very meh, so I am waiting for a significant price drop.

The PS4 hasn't got enough exclusive content that I'd be interested in, so I decided to go for Wii U. Splatoon alone 100% justified my choice.
I'll admit that Legend of Kay isn't HUGELY great, nostalgia goggles in heavy effect for me. It was one of my favourite games when it came out... I freaked when I heard about the rerelease.
Considering going with Shantae if only to think in terms of money; Shantae costs 16.99, Shovel Knight costs 14.99.
Since a cheap eShop card is 15, I could get Shantae now and Shovel Knight later on. That's what I think, anyways.

Ever thought about downloading the first Paper Mario? It's on the Wii shop..I think it was on the N64..and still looks great. I got it for our Wii U, but my son is mostly on it so I haven't played much. It's a crime that they do not have Paper Mario Thousand Year Door on the eshop. That one is fantastic beyond words.
Dedede: The PS4/Xbox One have exclusives in the sense that there are games you will never see on the Wii U. The Withcer 3, Rocket League, Sunset Overdirve, etc. For me the Wii U was disappointing, but I am very open to Nintendo's next console.

Shovel Knight is getting a physical release in October so if you prefer physical you could just get that and get Shantae right now.

Yup, I have Paper Mario on the Wii eShop and I have a physical copy of Thousand Year Door.
I also have a PC, but for the most part, the games I look forward to are available on Nintendo consoles anyways.

I hope that there's a package that has the physical game and the amiibo...
