I think it's pretty obvious they'll be teasing the ballot fighters, or at least one.

I'm happy to announce that Lucas will be available beginning 08:00 AM on June 14 (PT), 17:00 (CEST) on June 14th, and 01:00 AM on June 15 (AEST).

The Splatoon Mii Fighter gear and the Miiverse stage for the Wii U version are included in this update as well. It'll be here soon!

Lucas is already finished, and I've been playing with him daily. It's really satisfying when his up smash and Meteor Smash attacks connect.

The update that includes Lucas will be available beginning 08:00 AM on June 14 (PT), 17:00 (CEST) on June 14th, and 01:00 AM on June 15 (AEST).

We made a special video broadcast to talk about the update. In it, I'll be on camera to give you all the details!
We'll air the video online right before the update, at 07:40 AM on June 14 (PT), 16:40 (CEST) on June 14th, and 0:40 AM on June 15 (AEST). Please check it out before the update becomes available!

Well Ryu and Roy are as good as confirmed now, their victory videos are leaked. I'll put them in a spoiler in case you want to wait for the official announcement.

Shame this was leaked as this was probably supposed to be revealed tomorrow.

Yeah it's a shame, but nothing we can do about it anymore now. A stage was also leaked for Ryu and some new outfits for Mii's (those were quite surprising actually).

I can't get on the eShop, this will be a while before it's not overloaded anymore... Wanted to buy all the new characters but can't even login to the shop to add funds to my account.
