@Stitch - Not sure. We'll have to wait and see from Nintendo to when Masahiro Sakurai will announce the winner of the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot. Just have to wait and see.

This time last year Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS landed in our ever so grateful hands.

Super Smash Bros. Version 1.1.2 Update Fixes Diddy Kong Glitch

Nintendo has released a new patch for Super Smash Bros which is titled Version 1.1.1. The patch fixes an annoying issue with Diddy Kong which made the loveable character invincible from grabs and throws. For this to work the player controlling Diddy Kong had to use a shield against a multi hit move. This issue has now been fixed and the patch should be rolling out to everyone.

Super Smash Bros update 1.1.2 out now

As we reported earlier this week, the 1.1.2 update for Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS fixes a glitch regarding Diddy that was introduced in the 1.1.1 update. The newest patch is now available for download. At 21 MB it’s fairly small, so the download shouldn’t take too long.

After 55 games of winning in tournaments for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (including the Invitational tournament at E3 2014 last year), ZeRo lost to Nairo.

Man, that's an upset! But kudos though to not just Nairo for finally beating him but also at ZeRo for that impressive winning streak. Wish them good luck and let's see how these two will wound up in the next tournament or so. :)

As of September 30, 2015, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS sold over 7.37 million copies worldwide while Super Smash Bros. for Wii U sold over 4.03 million copies worldwide. Which combines together 11.40 million copies across both versions worldwide!

My guess is that the results from the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot will probably be on the new Nintendo Direct by next month or December based on what Tatsumi Kimishima said on a post a few days ago. I could be wrong but let's wait and see since Sakurai and his team started developing them probably after the October 3rd deadline of the ballot.
