Kirby (Franchise General)

^I love amiibo (a lot) for how they are. I'm not complaining, I just think it should've been different for some games.

The game is $40 like Captain Toad: TT

The visual of this game looks AMAZING! I have not been a Kirby fan at all but I might be buying this one for the satisfaction of staring at the screen in awe! This and Yoshi's wooly world... WOW!

The problem is that most of the time you're staring at the tiny GamePad screen.

Have you played it? It sure does look like that, but I'm sure we are only seeing half, if not less, of the different gameplay types in the game. I really need to try this one out... Might rent a game for the first time in years...


Edit: Just found this in a review so you were right: "That said, the stylus-focused nature of the mechanics means you have to keep your eyes on the Wii U GamePad at all times, meaning that you miss out on the full beauty on your television."

Return to Dreamland is my personal favorite Kirby title, and I've been looking into buying Triple Deluxe. That game looks awesome, and features King Dedede heavily, which is a huge plus for me since he's my favorite Kirby character, haha.

^You don't get to play as Triple D until you beat the main story as Kirby. More to consider. I have it, and if the aforementioned doesn't bother you, you should get it. Easily one of my favorite Kirby games.
