That's for Smash Bros. They're clearly trying to release lines of amiibo for games that both read and write, such as Smash and Mario Party 10. These other games are just an extra added feature.

An extra NEEDED feature. Smash amiibo support is pretty meh once they're at 50.

Disney Infinity and Skylanders support is pretty meh when they're fully upgraded. All good things must come to an end.

If you don't feel that they're worth buying, don't buy them. But this is a Kirby thread, not a "Amiibos are too limited thread". Save this for the amiibo thread, or PMs if you still disagree.

I read somewhere that this game would sell for about $30, not the usual $60. Don't remember where, though.
