Even though he made some mistakes with the Wii U, this man, if he hadn't put Kanto in Pokémon Gold and Silver, I may have not liked him as much.

Since he did, R.I.P (Rest In Peace) Satoru Iwata.

Even though you made some mistakes over the years as CEO, your passion and love for gaming along with your want for gaming to be fun has kept this mindset going in an ever changing Gaming landscape.

I'll never forget the impact you may have had on me over the years as a Nintendo fan and wonder what Nintendo will be like with a new CEO and President now that you have passed away. :|

Some say that he made Mario Maker so we could continue to make games after he was gone...
He has been sick for some time.
Rest in Peace Mr. Iwata. Thank you for the memories.

Nintendo

Once again we want to thank everyone for sharing their personal memories and artistic condolences for Mr. Iwata this week. We will continue to honor his memory by putting smiles on people’s faces as we work on, talk about and play the video games he loved so much. Mr. Iwata inspired us all, and his was truly the heart of a gamer.

Hopeully the NX will do better in sales.
They just need:
-Better Advertising Campaign
-More Third Party Support
-Less gimmicks (They already reported NX has a unique feature, which I am ok with as long as it is not repetitive or annoying and continues to be fun)
-More hardcore advertising campaign, so they can attract family and hardcore gamers as well.

@stitch they need more games like halo/uncharted to compete with ps and Xbox, also better graphics etc. I like Nintendo for what it is but it's definitely not for hardcore gamers

I agree. That is why a new REAL Metroid game should be made (Not a spin off!)

Definition of a hardcore gamer can be very different to each person. I think some of Nintendo's games can be more hardcore then Halo. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is a good example for this. To me hardcore gamers are gamers that don't fear a challenge or are interested in many good games. Heck, Bayonetta 2 is probably the most hardcore game I played this generation. I love that game!

But I agree with the third party support, Nintendo needs that again. Not for me personally because I mainly game on PC now but not everybody has a gaming PC or more consoles.
