New Pikachu balloon debuting at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC



Pikachu has been a staple of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for over a decade. During this year’s parade, the Pokemon will be seeing the debut of a brand new balloon.

Pikachu will march in the parade for the 15th consecutive year with a new holiday look. You can check out the style for yourself above.

The new Pikachu balloon can be seen by watching this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in person or on TV on November 27.

Hey guys, quick question.
A friend of mine is gonna give me a shiny when I get AS since it's my first Pokemon game. I narrowed down the ones that most appeal to me. Which shiny would be best?
Shiny Mew
Shiny Latias
Shiny Lucario

I'd go for Mew personally. Of those 3 Mew will be the hardest to get in general, let alone a shiny of it.

^I would immediately go with Mew... But I don't really like Shiny Mew's color.

Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Hit 1 Million Pre-Orders In Japan

Upcoming Pokemon titles Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to become the most sought after games in the history of the franchise. According to Dengeki Online, pre-order sales for the remakes have sky-rocketed in Japan, hitting more than one million sales so far. And that number will continue to rise over the course of the next few weeks as we get closer to the release date on November 21.

Last year, Pokemon X and Y became the fastest selling 3DS title in North America, bringing in one million sales on day one. But it looks as if Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to obliterate X and Y’s record if these pre-order sales are anything to go by. Back in April, the Pokemon Company International stated that both X and Y had sold a staggering 12 million copies worldwide since it’s October 2013 release. Can Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire best its predecessors when they release November 21 for North America and November 28 for Europe? Let us know in the comment section below.
