If we can't quote ourselves nor can we reply to ourselves and we have updates on our own posts, how does anyone know that we may have relevant updates to our posts? Ie. I just updated my topic about people on the furniture. How do people know what I discovered?

Is that allowed? It would be like adding to my topic and violating the rules.

Didn't notice that rule, if I made a thread and updated it then I see no reason not to bump

for a bit more clarification of the rule that states ...

do not double post
Try to avoid making more than one post in a row. Edit posts if you need to add more content to them.

... it is primarily intended to prevent people not thinking about what they post in the first place and then posting multiple times in a row in a close time frame.

commenting a few days after your last post to bump it to reply and close the topic would be acceptable.

"do not double post

do not post unnecessarily to increase your post count
Posting unnecessarily just to increase your post count will not be tolerated. Do not do it."

Those are the rules I'm following. Not trying to argue, just seeking a little insight.

Well sherrif is the main mod, he said feel free if its a few days since your last post in the thread and if there's an update etc then feel free. There'll be no rules broken.
