i think because the purple is a pretty warm purple it's not as clearly different from the red as that green is. and i personally like the huge contrast because within an instant you know where there are unread posts when i cycle through my tabs. my vote remains for the green for unread, as for stickies though... me gusta el incredibles.

final icons have now been uploaded. if you cannot see the updated; red, green and incredible icons simply clear your cache and then refresh the forum pages

I just turned the forum on now and was at first confused by the new colours and then I remembered that I had caused this commotion in the first place and was pleased with the result.
