Postage FAQ

I wonder if it would be helpful to have a brief FAQ for the Trading/Swapping side of things just listing the weight of 1, 2, 3 disc combinations and listing the average postage costs for sending them. It could have prices for US to US; US to Canada; US to Europe and vice versa, and then save members who have stamps at home from having to find the time to get to a Post Office and weigh everything.

Just a thought. :)

I like this idea - part of the reason I haven't taken up to trading on the forums is I have absolutely no clue how much it costs to send a disc (that and we have 1 full set, so it'd just be working towards our second full set)

Also, unless I've missed it there already, the Swapping FAQ really needs to be attached to the top of the Swap/Trade sub-forum.

(As well as where it already is.)

I have been sending 1 disc in a bubble envelope. Cost of shipping is $1.60 US, and .30 for the envelope. Total weight for 2 discs is less than 3 oz. and the cost to ship in the US for 1-3 oz is the same. Hope that helps.

For UK to UK you can get quite a few discs in a padded envelope and send it with a second class large letter stamp for 69pence. As long as it's under 2.5cm thick.
