I'd love it.
It'd especially be cool for discussions in certain topics like the hangout ones or just plain talking with the forum members you are friends with.
Because quite frankly I'm tired of making up voices based on other member's personality.

The Inside Infinity podcast also uses Google Hangouts so that could also be another viable option for those who already have an account or are planning to.

I'd definitely go to an IRC group if I could chat there with my favourite members, although I don't know about Skype. I don't have a Skype account. I'd be uncomfortable chatting over the net with a facecam, so I never signed up. I'd love a chatroom of some kind, though, because the members I usually see posting in the sections I visit seem like they would be fun to just chat with.
