Toys 'R' Us (UK) Home Page

Postby Fix-It Felix » Sun Jul 21, 2013 3:03 pm

I was just having a look on the Toys 'R' Us UK page and I noticed the sides of the home page are decorated with Disney Infinity banners. Now I don't know if this has already been noted on the Forums but I thought it was cool that Infinity is getting the recognition it deserves, below is one of the images:

but unlike the usa there are no mention of pre-order bonuses or exclusives

i went into a Disney Store yesterday and there was no sign of Disney Infinity at all. i asked several cast members and they knew nothing about it. i asked if i could pre-order Disney Infinity from them at that store and they said no!!!

so, 1 month before launch and no mention or knowledge of Disney Infinity at a Disney Store. very, very wrong

^That's incredibly strange..., they had no knowledge of the game at all?

^ Wow, really? That is just embarrassing, surely the Disney store should be the first and best place you would be able to go to, to order a Disney game, especially a big project like Infinity. With one month to go I'd expect a big display in the window featuring figures and maybe even a mini screen showing footage of gameplay in the toy box... :|

they had heard about Disney Infinity but couldn't tell me anything about it

one of the reasons i went there yesterday was to have a look at what sort of promotions were on display ... ZERO!

Haven't gone to a Disney Store here in the states to see if anything was up,but they had signs for it at Target, so I think the Disney Store should have some sort of display!

Unfortunately, many hourly Disney cast members in both Disney Stores and the Parks are there more for a paycheck than for their genuine interest in Disney, and often don't have the slightest clue about upcoming Disney projects. I've had many conversations with fellow Cast Members about Infinity here at the parks, and not a single one has heard of it before I asked them about it. Same situation with Frozen. They just don't keep up with Disney news and whatnot. Which is my opinion is ridiculous. I stay in the know not only because I'm personally interested in it, but also because I feel it's part if my job to be knowledgable about the company. If a guest came and asked me about Infinity, I wouldn't be all "uhh... Uhh... I don't really know."
