was there a UK demo event in London ?

i thought nothing was happening in the uk this article said there was a demo event in london for infinty

oh man >< i would of got the 2 hour train ride down to London its a shame the staff at the disney store didnt have more knowledge to share when you was there to think i could of played it yesterday ><

...Well, okay, not really. I'm not that mad, since I never expected the chance to play it before release, since the UK rarely gets these demo tours. But if that chance existed, I am bummed out to have missed it. Maybe it was press only and that's why we didn't hear about it?

Well that explains why there were articles in almost every newspaper yesterday.

That's why it sucks over there in UK? We never get told anything and its really annoying. Not that I would have gone I live like 4 hours away on train lol.

even if it was aimed at press and celebrities it would have been nice for us normal people to know it was happening

Totally agree, it would have been nice for us to know. It'd be awesome for any of the countries outside of America to get a promotional tour, but I don't see it happening. I've gotten sadly resigned to the UK getting everything relating to Disney hideously late or not at all, not to mention with a significant price mark up.

(There's still a part of me that's holding my breath with fearful anticipation to see if all the American Disney Infinity offers (like get a free figure with Starter Pack) will come over here after the game is released, meaning those of us who pre-ordered actually end up worse off. But it may just be me being extra cynical because the heat and humidity is starting to get to my brain. )
