@infinityapprentice I aked JV about the release date of Rise Against the Empire and Boba Fett that Sony revealed and he said it is not true... I don't know who tells the truth... A bunch of European retailers and Sony or John Vignocchi? I am so confused!

@Angelos-Giorgos I know JV can't always tell us what's going on (like Boba Fett coming; that would ruin the surprise!), but I know he would never lie to us. Plans do change, and I think Disney Infinity is being more cautious about releasing info until it's official so the community isn't disappointed (Hello #Trongate!). JV loves the community so much, and I'm sure as soon as he gets the okay on an official date he'll tell us.

Also on another E3 interview, JV has stated that there WILL NOT be a collector's base produced for 3.0, as they wanted to focus on ramping up the number of characters this time.

That was adorable. JV is such a sweetie.

The 3.0 special edition has turned up for preorder in the UK on Game's website, so that confirms that.

Edit: For £104.99, which roughly converts to $166. Nice to see them keeping prices consistent between territories. /sarcasm
