The Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit has been announced for 2015.
Dates: 8/11-8/13
Location: Anaheim, CA in conjunction with D23 EXPO

Top Toy Box Artists will have the chance to get hands on with Disney Infinity (3.0 Edition) before release and compete in the first ever Toy Box 3.0 building competition with the entire community voting on the winners. There will also be presentations and Q&A with the team behind Disney Infinity.

Toy Box Artists who qualify will be receiving invitations today. In order to qualify, these Toy Box Artists placed in our weekly Toy Box challenges at least seven times since the launch of Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition).

In addition to that, four Toy Box Artist competitor spots will be filled through a Toy Box 2.0 building contest. If you didn’t qualify for an invite, but love building in the Toy Box, we really encourage you to enter the Toy Box Summit 2015 Contest. Note: Due to international legal restrictions around contests, you must be a resident of the U.S. or Canada to enter the contest.

I would also like to wish the people participating in the building contest good luck, too! Should be fun to see what dream destinations they come up with... And may I just say, this years 1st place prize is not too shabby at all !!

A few questions though.. Since this is happening a day before D23, are any of you guys going to attend that? Does that come with the invite? Is that the prize? Are your plane tickets voided since you won't be leaving the day after the summit is over?

^ We have the option to stay for D23, they'll give us tickets and we'll be part of the DI booth. I know I am staying!

@fdanielfelix, do you know if that applies for contest winners?

^ Yes.

I could be reading wrong but the grand prize winners just get the Summit.
I have double checked what the invited artists get and it includes D23 (hotel,altered air arrangements,passes to the Expo )
I would say ask Alison about Grand Prize contest winners being able to stay for D23.
Cannot wait to meet everyone! I plan on taking tons of pics and some short videos for my youtube channel

It also says that a prize is "early copy of Disney Infinity 3.0 starter pack". Does that mean that we get it before launch too?
