@Romulus77 Disneyland IS a business. Park admission covers the cost of Park and attraction maintenance, entertainment, etc. But they would gain money in the sale of all the merchandise and food to the Summit people they let loose in the Park. Plus they would write off the tickets as a tax benefit. So really, it would be more like padding the bench than emptying it. ;)

Where's the line though? Should they write off hotel rooms for the audience members too? Food?

I think it's nice enough that they are opening it up to an audience at all. This is about the Summit after all, not about Disneyland. The artists' passes are a reward.

Besides, I'm sure there will be some 3.0 swag to be had for the audience.

^ It also depends on how many people are in the audience. Writing off 20 tickets is different than writing off 50 tickets, for example. Has anyone said how many people will be in the audience?

@InfinityApprentice I've been told 50 - 100 but this is not an official number.

^ Wow! Thats more than I was thinking. I've never been in that particular building, so I'm unsure of the sq footage and how many people they could squeeze in.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that situation. Because the e-mail specifically said audience members won't have to pay to get into the park, so since we're already in do we get to stay in afterwards or get kicked out? lol

@SketchFox7 wish I could clarify for you all but I don't know. I know the building is used for weddings and events and has an entrance that doesn't require you to come from inside the park. Extent of my knowledge.

@MightyGitis- That actually was very helpful, knowing that there's an entrance outside of the park so to speak, more than likely we won't be staying after 1pm, lol. Still excited though! I look forward to meeting everyone going, whether you're participating or in the audience!

Yeah, I think at this point, I am just grateful for the opportunity to be in the audience.
If I get to look around California Adventure, awesome. If I get 2 day park hoppers, great.
If I get nothing, fantastic. I'm at the Toy Box Summit. I will figure it out and move on to do something else.
Enjoy the ride. Be grateful.
