Do we know full details on the Toys R Us event on 9/7 yet?

So far as when it will be released on that day, call your TRU the day before to double check. I checked with co-workers and the plan is that it won't be released until the event at our local one, but that doesn't mean someone won't accidentally put them out earlier just because they know they'll go out (or perhaps if someone asks for them specifically)

I spoke to employees at my TRU today. The manager was talking through a walkie-talkie, so the guy helping me did his best to get my questions answered:
1. Q: Will there be a give-away bag? A: Uh, I think I heard something about that.
2. Q: Is there a new exclusive disc pack? (I knew this but was setting up the next question) A: Yes! We will have a new exclusive disc pack available that day.
3. Q: Will the exclusive disc pack be available when the store opens at 9a or at noon when the event begins? A: Uh... uh... I'll probably put some on the floor when we open and hold some back for the event. Yeah. That's what I'll do.

I'm pretty sure every store is going to operate differently.

I've been hearing a lot of stories that certain stores will be giving them in the morning when the store opens and during the event as well, and i've heard other stories where it'll be available when the event starts. I suggest calling or asking your local TRU tomorrow and finding out. I called mine in San Diego and they'll be selling them once the store opens and saving some for the event as well.

@maximumzero given that there are too many discs in the toys r us selection to be all of the rares for waves 2 and 3 AND this tweeted picture of non rare versions of stitch surfboard and the tron textures i would say that this is almost certain

The store at Milenia Mall Orlando, FL is not selling the exclusives until noon.

Went to my store, South Portland Maine, and the guy didn't think they had the new packs. Told him I called yesterday and they said they did have them. After about 10 minutes he found them. There were a couple other people looking for them too. We were allowed to take two each. He said they were supposed to hold them for the event, but I mentioned I asked about that too yesterday and was told we could buy them when the store opened. He said there have been a lot of calls about the event so they are expecting a lot of people.
