Just read this article and watched the video by venture beat. Same old stuff pretty much except in teh video in mentions there will be 2 additional playsets at launch. Cars is one and he won't say what the other is. I still think it will be Toy story. We will see though.

Based on the Zavvi cached page I would still say that it will be the Lone Ranger playset. Having Toy Story at launch will make the game too heavily weighted towards Pixar. In addition Toy Story is pretty much their heavy hitter for this game so I supect that they'll launch it in Late October or Early November to draw away the Skylanders Fans and so that it gets massive sales at Christmas.

I just realised that an August release date for Disney Infinity is a great time for it to be fresh in everyone's mind for it to win some awards.

What do you mean by Zavvi cached page ?

Disney Infinity Fans.com have an image which showed a page of Zavvi.com where it listed various Infinity related products that were, funnily enough, not orderable.

Thanks, I had not seen that before. Now i really will wait to preorder on amazon. Because if that villians pack is real i dont want to get my free figure and have it included in a 3 pack.
