Gadgetorium Final Round- Buzz's Jet Pack vs. T.P. Launcher

Gadgetorium Final Round- Buzz's Jet Pack vs. T.P. Launcher

Postby thedisneyfanatic22 » Wed May 29, 2013 3:28 am

The Disney Infinity Facebook page just announced that Buzz's Jetpack, to no surprise, moved on to the Final Round of the Gadgetorium. Now, voting is up for the Final round between the Jet Pack and the T.P. Launcher( I personally would like to see the Jetpack win). Currently, the Jetpack is up with 73% of the votes, so, unless it changes dramatically, it looks good for the Jetpack. Also, I finally was able to vote on the actual page, because at least, for me, the link never worked, but oh well! So, who do you want to see win? And do you think the real life model of the gadget will be sold in stores? I sure hope so!

I'm honestly a little surprised the T.P Launcher even made it this far. I mean I would much rather have a hoverboard. Maybe people thought that the possibility of a WORKING T.P Launcher was greater? If that's the case I don't think that whatever they make in real life will be a working model

And yet, unfortunately, jet packs also already exist. That is why I am disappointed that the hoverboard didn't win. To my knowledge it is the one that is the hardest to make in real life.

^ I'm sure Disney have bucket loads of money to throw at the thing to do it. And if not they can always talk to Scrooge McDuck and he may contribute. :)

Lol! Yea, how could you pick a tp launcher over a hoverboard. When I looked at all of the comments for that post, 90% of the people said they would rather see the hoverbosrd. I have no idea how the T.P. Launcher won. Unless, Disney realized it would be really hard to make, and just said the T.P. Launcher won! ;)

The possibility of a functioning hoverboard? Yeah. Vat19 made a display stand that an object can HOVER and spin around on. And I believe there have been working prototypes which can go a few centimetres high.

The bad news? It was about three inches wide and didn't go very high. And THAT costs over $1000.

The likelihood of a hoverboard? No. :P I doubt that they'll spend all the money to make it consumer-worthwhile just to promote a game.

Now let's hope we have one by 2015 for Back To The Future!
