Well, if the entire game is downloadable, they just release an Avengers Play Set pack, and sell the Avenger who isn't in the pack separately as well as in the Starter Pack. Though I'm still thinking they'll go the Skylanders Giants route, a Starter Pack and a Base Owner's Pack.

Yea but Skylanders was available as a full game download on xbox one...

How much was that Skylanders download compared to the Starter Pack?

This thread is going around and around in circles.

1) The game will be downloadable.

2) Therefore, clearly, the starter characters will also be available individually.

Only the toy box is downloadable not the playsets.

They said on Facebook the entire game is downloadable.

ok, as has been pointed out we are going around in circles. official Disney comments have said different things. nothing has been confirmed properly yet.

I found a interview vid on youtube that mentions there will be no baseless starter pack but a bit after launch you can download disney infinity 2.0 toybox and avengers playset. Now I do not know if he meant the whole game or just those two things.

Also on the vid he says that hulk will be timed exclusive launch its only on collectors but 30days later the figure will be out on its on for everone else. also the sony collector's edition will be worldwide release not just U.S.


If you have original DI playsets and you put them on Disney infinity 2.0 it will unlock all the items from that playset automatically like you would have unlocked in the first game by playing those specific playsets.
