I'm making a guess that since Amazon has an Infinity PC portal that it'll be the definitive version. They're not going to take digital stuff away. They're getting revenue...

I'm with thedisneyfanatic22... i'd have loved for the 1.0 playsets to have worked on my PS4 since my PS3 will be sold in the winter once di2 comes out... it might become available down the road but it would have been a nice touch for the newer consoles that haven't got 1.0

I'll never sell my PS3, I do pray every day for it not to die though, (it's a launch 60gig), combined with my PS4 I can play every gen Playstation game, it's an absolutely essential piece of kit imho. I'm looking forward to seeing if the PC version keeps all the 1.0 content and just updates to include 2.0 stuff, that will make it the definitive version for sure.

@BenFleischman: Just for replay value. Especially for those who plan to upgrade to next gen systems and don't intend on keeping the older models.

For me personally, I have the Wii version. So I never got to fully experience Disney Infinity the way it was meant to be. So being able to play 1.0 playsets on a PS4 would have been AWESOME!

At least I'll get to instantly unlock all the toys that were not available to me with those playsets.

^ I read that it checks your Play Set save data and only unlocks the toys you've already unlocked? Otherwise, I could, say, only have Jack Sparrow from Pirates, collect barely anything, and then instantly get every single toy, which kinda cancels out buying "back figures". Meaning less cash, which Disney would be very against.

@bloxxerman: I really hope not, because not only would that put a limit on us Wii owners for playset toys, but also for toybox toys that we've yet to unlock. Though, I can see your point about character specific toys. However, for those getting next-gen systems, they're at a disadvantage for not having 1.0 available to them and unable to play through to unlock anything, so it would make sense to go this route. Plus, this would mean that players would still need to purchase a 1.0 playset which would still bring in revenue. For playset toys, it makes sense, at least to me. For character specific toys (toybox chests), they're probably willing to take the hit, or have something else in mind

Shaka, sorry buddy, but I don't see 2.0 being on Wii.

@MTM: Oh, I know it's not going to be on Wii. But for those of us that ow the Wii version of 1.0, we've yet to unlock everything in the game. When comparing the Wii to the PC, the PC version has capsules EVERYWHERE! The Wii has them so far and few, for instance, the buildings in any playset can not be unlocked. Flo's V8 Cafe doesn't exist in the toybox on the Wii version. Ramone's paintshop, Edna's costume shop, Alien Hatchery, Alien costumes, Guido's balloon man, just some to name a few are non-existant in the Wii version of 1.0. So having the 1.o playsets unlock toys that would otherwise have been unattainable in 2.0 is a great idea.
