New Challenges

I too have a frozen box sitting at about 85% done. Ive been waiting on a challenge so I can avoid the 'buried effect' but truthfully I really just want to get it out in the wild.

All they keep saying on twitter is soon. *Sigh*

I don't wanna know soon, I wanna know now!

If they follow the last reveal, it will be tomorrow night.

yeah kind of sux that the first new challenge is immediately under fire deadline wise. Especially if its a great theme- you have all of a week to work something up which for most people translates to about 2-3 free hours a day that you can spare. Whereas the 4th challenge you work over and polish for 4 weeks.

If they wait til Toy Box TV, that will be even less than a week. No dice.

They should update the list weekly. When the current challenge ends, add the next one at the bottom of the list. So then we always know a challenge theme a month out.

^+1 to Romulus....hate to sound like a broken record but short deadlines are holding these toyboxes back. Give us more time to work and more time to upload and test. There should always be 4-5 challenges listed with a 2 week turnaround time minimum. So announce the next 4 tomorrow but the first Toy Box TV/deadline should be in two weeks instead of one.

(Would also give a much needed break to the group as they clearly need it based on how many skipped the latest challenge.)

I agree a million percent. Especially when you have no interest in the last weekly challenge of the group, that's time I could have been using towards one of the new challenges. Of course, there's always other stuff I can do, but DI building is kind of a fun ritual (I'm sure I don't have to explain to anyone here). I've been working on a secret project in the mean time, but I really wish they would update the list every time the current challenge is over.

As to people skipping the challenges, I can't speak for everyone but if I don't get a 'spark' from a challenge, I don't compete in it. With advanced notice though, I may get a spark before the challenge week arrives. I just look back at my thoughts when this current group of challenges arrived, there were only two challenges that initially made me think 'ok, I can try something for that...' But with a little time to think about it, some of the other challenges gave me ideas too.
Plus I really wanted to support the Sheriff's challenge

Why do I have the feeling we aren't going to get the new list until tommorrow?

Let's go on strike, no one build for the first challenge no matter what it is

Maybe then we'll get our demands.
