iOS App Help?

iOS App Help?

Postby KyletheCartoonist » Mon Aug 05, 2013 3:46 am

I downloaded the Wreck-It Ralph Hero's Duty Disney app, and after the "Disney Publishing" screen, it goes black and nothing happens. Can somebody help me? I don't want the $2 I spent on this to be a waste!

Go back in the App Store to the Hero's Duty page. There should be a button that is labeled App Support. Click it, and it should email the developer directly. They should either give you the fix of refund the money.

You might try a soft reset. Pressing the home and power button until it restarts. About 15 seconds or so.

@Agent C I already tapped that, but it just took me to a customer support site where their suggested solution didn't work.
@SandyClaws Pressing the home and power button makes me take a screenshot, so I don't think holding them down will do much good.

With the soft reset, press and hold both the power and home button until the 'turn off' notification comes on.
Ignore it and keep pressing until the screen goes black and then, shortly after, the Apple logo appears.
Then, let go of the buttons.
The phone will restart and then, hopefully the App will load.
I manage a mobile phone shop and this sequence fixes about 95% of the iPhone problems in store!
Remember, this all started with a Mouse.

You might also want to try deleting the app and downloading the app again.

Have you checked the compatibility list to make sure your phone should work?
