Thanks for posting this here! I was going to try but I have no idea how to post videos and images! The movie looks cool (and some what emotional). I can't wait to see it! :D
I'm a big fan of Pixar and Disney Movies, and the Skylanders games. The Cars franchise and Ratatouille are my favorite Pixar movies. Paperman is my favorite thing to ever come out of Disney!

Windlifter

Windlifter (voice of Wes Studi) is a heavy-lift helicopter that can hoist dozens of trees or a huge tank of fire retardant. The American Indian's wisdom is vast -- he's chock-full of fire folklore -- and his connection to nature allows him to sense fires before they're even spotted. "We wanted a strong, silent character," says director Bobs Gannaway. "So when he speaks you know it's impactful."

Image
The Smokejumpers

The Smokejumpers are a fearless team of grounded firefighters, led by the strong and sassy Dynamite (voice of Regina King) -- so named because you don't wanna set her off. "These are the boots...or treads-on-the-ground team," says Gannaway. "And they bring some humor."

Image
The Secretary of the Interior

The Secretary of the Interior (voice of Fred Willard) has many responsibilities, but none is more important than overseeing the national parks. This rugged outdoorsman loves being in nature; he spends most of his time away from his office in Washington, visiting the national forests and parks and helping to spread his message of conservation. "We wanted to make sure the Secretary of the Interior was a down-to-earth character," says producer Ferrell Barron. "He's competent, smart and likable."

Image
Nick "Loop'n" Lopez

Nick "Loop'n" Lopez (voice of Erik Estrada) was America's favorite helicopter cop, featured on TV's CHoPs, a show about two California Helicopter Patrol choppers. Nick, the troublemaking macho young officer, got the nickname "Loop'n" from his signature inside loop, which no other helicopter could perform. "They wanted me in there," says Estrada. "They wanted to capture the spirit of CHiPs."

Image
Harvey & Winnie

Harvey (voice of Jerry Stiller) and Winnie (voice of Anne Meara) met many moons ago when Harvey was the manager of an RV tire store and Winnie was his showroom model. The loving couple travel to Piston Peak Park, where they celebrated their honeymoon 50 years ago. "We needed a couple who had been married for over 50 years who already had that natural chemistry," says Gannaway of hiring Stiller and Meara. "They were the first people I went to."

Image
Dusty Crophopper

When world-famous air racer Dusty Crophopper (voice of Dane Cook) returns to hometown Propwash Junction after another victorious racing season, the former crop duster revels in his new career success until a fateful training run changes his course with a career-ending injury. Forced to shift gears, Dusty decides to train with the Aerial Fire Fighters at Piston Peak Air Attack Base as a Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT). "Dusty truly enters a life-and-death world," says Gannaway.

Image
Dipper

Outgoing and spirited super scooper Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen) is skilled at skimming lakes, scooping up more than 1,600 gallons of water and dousing angry fires. A former cargo hauler from Alaska, Dipper is an avid air racing fan with a major crush on headline racer Dusty. "I was so excited," says Gannaway of bring Modern Family's Bowen to her first voice role. "I finally found someone who talks faster than me."

Image
Cabbie

An ex-military transport plane, Cabbie (voice of Dale Dye) used to drop airborne utility vehicles behind enemy lines in Korea. Now he drops smoke jumpers. "Dale Dye brings some authenticity to the part," says Gannaway.

Image
Blade Ranger

Blade Ranger (voice of Ed Harris), a veteran fire-and-rescue helicopter, heads up the Piston Peak Air Attack team. He's a tough and demanding air boss with a wry sense of humor, and he's not exactly enthusiastic about his new trainee Dusty. "When Ed Harris talks, you listen," says Barron "He commands the room."

Lightning McQueen revs his engine off-road in Pixar's new Radiator Springs short -- EXCLUSIVE
Image

Cars 2 was an enormous box-office hit, but as Mater skipped around the globe as an oblivious player in the world of espionage, fans of the original film may have felt a little homesick for Radiator Springs. Fortunately, Lightning McQueen’s adopted hometown gets another close-up in The Radiator Springs 500 ½.

The entire cast of voices from the films, including Owen Wilson, is back for this six-minute short, which will premiere later this spring exclusively on Disney Movies Anywhere. The gang is enjoying a Founders Day celebration to honor the late Stanley when a gang of Baja racers descend on the town and challenge Lightning to a race.

“We kind of played it up like a western,” says Rob Gibbs, the Mater’s Tall Tales vet who directed the short along with Scott Morse. “These off-road racers come to town, like gunslingers looking for the hottest gunslinger in Radiator Springs, Lightning McQueen. They challenge him to a race, like someone would challenge someone to a duel.”

As you can see from the photo, Lightning isn’t one to walk (drive?) away from a challenge. While he and the Baja pros see who’s the fastest, Mater leads the rest of the gang through a leisurely Founders Day tour of Stanley’s original frontier route. “It’s kind of a contrast between how much fun the tour is and how scary and painful the racers’ journey is, because they take a right where Mater told them to take a left,” says Gibbs.

Image

Gibbs, Morse, and the Pixar team had a lot of fun with the new characters, who were inspired by the racers who compete in Mexico’s famous Baja 1000 race. “They have all these different classes for that race, so we tried to pick the most interesting cars,” says Gibbs. “So there’s four of them: a Baja Bug, a Class-1 dune buggy, a Meyers Manx dune buggy, and a trophy truck, the big money ones, you know, with huge suspension and huge wheels.”

The Radiator Spring 500 ½ might not become an annual racing event, but the short itself is the first of Pixar’s “Tales from Radiator Springs” series. A second short is already in the works for 2015.

Check out the new Disney's Planes: Fire & Rescue poster. In theatres this summer on July 18!

Cad Spinner

Image

Park superintendent Cad Spinner (voice of John Michael Higgins) is a luxury Sport Utility Vehicle who’s better suited for a country club than the country. Self-centered and passionate about profits, Cad diverts a big chunk of the firefighters’ budget to his lodge restoration project. Though completely turned off by dirt, Cad’s not opposed to playing dirty to get his way.

Maru

Image

Maru (voice of Curtis Armstrong) is the mechanic tug at the Piston Peak Air Attack base. Friendly with a sarcastic sense of humor, he’s been around a long time and has the cluttered hangar to prove it. With no budget for new parts, Maru’s many shelves of old parts and machinery come in quite handy. The repurposing pro’s motto? “It’s better than new!”

Ol’ Jammer

Image

A loyal and trustworthy tour bus at Piston Peak for 72 years, Ol’ Jammer (voice of Barry Corbin) knows every trail, stream, rock and tree. This strong and seasoned bus with a gentle soul is eager to share his vast knowledge of the park’s history with the multitude of admiring daily visitors.

Mayday

Image

Feisty old Mayday (voice of Hal Holbrook) has been Propwash Junction’s fire and rescue truck for … ever. He’s always rarin’ to go, but he’s lost a little speed over the years. Plus, his hoses are leaky and he can’t see much without his glasses. Propwash Junction is growing fast thanks to resident-turn-big-time-racer Dusty, so Mayday might be in over his headlights.

Ryker

Image

Ryker (voice of Kevin Richardson), a 17-year veteran of the Transportation Management Safety Team (TMST), not only lives by the book when it comes to airport accident investigations, he wrote the book. Nothing slips by this air safety investigator, so don’t even try.

Pulaski

Image

Pulaski (voice of Patrick Warburton) is Piston Peak’s structural engine, responsible for protecting the buildings and bridges in the park. With a 2000-gallon tank, he can pump water at 1000 gallons per minute, but protecting the renovated Grand Fusel Lodge—considered the largest log structure in the world—may prove impossible, even for Pulaski.
