Frozen

I looked at the Japanese version of the trailer and am wondering about one thing.

Anna's signature outfit, apparently, doesn't belong to her at all.
It's actually owned by Elsa, who was wearing it to prevent her cold temperature from escaping her body.

I'm thinking when the kingdom became frozen, Anna raided Elsa's wardrobe for cold weather clothing, since the dress she was wearing at the time wasn't really suitable for winter.

Okay, that trailer is another example of what I mean by copy/paste of Tangled. The humor, the character personalities, the dialog, the jokes... the list goes on. Disney is obviously trying to repeat the success of Tangled; but just because the formula for Tangled worked doesn't mean they should do the same thing again. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the cool combat princess who uses random objects to fight off bad guys and life-threatening animals (in Anna's case, a acoustic guitar opposed to Rapunzel's frying pan), but it has been done before. It's like Disney said "Hey! Everyone loved Tangled! Let's grab another old fairy tale or legend and do it again!"

And yes, I have to pick at the characters designs again. You can shove the characters from Tangled into this movie and not tell the difference.
I miss 2-D Disney quality. Does anyone remember the incredible artwork of Fantasia? How about the dress transformation scene in Cinderella, or the visual style of Sleeping Beauty or the watercolor backgrounds of Bambi? Those movies had great and unique artwork. I personally just don't see that with the "new" stuff.

Disney needs to remember where they came from, go back to their roots, and leave the 3D stuff to Pixar.
To infinity, and beyond!

Okay... guys, I know I've mostly been saying on here that I wasn't that excited about Frozen... and yes I do think its still very Tangled-esque... but, I have to say... now... I'm excited to watch the movie... :/ The colour palette is really pretty, and I like the scenery in the trailer. Also, somebody I know on another forum who watched four trailers for the movie at D23 said that some of them were much darker... so this trailer is basically showing all the funny stuff... there is more to the movie than this.

Now... I'm waiting for Rapunzel (the member) to come and laugh at me right about now... bah! :D Anyhow I want to know more about that Duke character.

Now, this DOES look like a Disney Rennasance Era film in 3D. If they got stuff like the story from Tangled and the rest of the stuff from Princess and The Frog for this film, I'm down to go and see it in December (Dec 6th over here in UK actually). :D

Awesome!!! Oh my gosh!! So amazing!!! :D This goes to show that this is completely different from Tangled! Although, there are some similarities! But are you guys honestly saying that no other Disney movies look the same? Because that is just ridiculous! Take a look at these links, they prove my point entirely! So stop complaining! Frozen is soo much different from Tangled! And if all your going to do is complain and compare this with Tangled, then please stop posting here! Thanks!

I love the trailer!

Anna is so adorable!
Hot-tempered and clumsy, that's great.

I'm really looking forward to seeing these people now!

The Duke is just a minor player, although he may have an impact on the film.
According to the plot description
Spoiler: show
he is trying to benefit from Arendale's misfortune economically by acquiring their resources for his own country.

Can we please drop the Tangled comparison negativity?
I was reading a topic about Inside Out and it was mostly people saying unpleasant things about Pixar just because they hated the company.
And this topic is starting to sound like that one.

It's not Tangled, not by a long shot.
Case in point, Anna hits one enemy once with a guitar and that makes her a Rapunzel clone?
That's flawed reasoning.

@buckmana I think that...
Spoiler: show
Hans will be the main villain. In a Gaston type of way, we haven't had a villain like that since (well...) Gaston. Hans and the Duke could be RELATED! I know, plot twist much but I can see it coming kind of. But, it would be cool (hehehe) if Kistoff was the main villain. We won't find out until the film is released... :/
