UNNECESSARY Disney Movies

This is a topic to talk about all those Disney movies that have been made (or are being made) that feel just down-right unnecessary.

For me, there's a huge list, (mainly made up of Disney sequels) but currently, I've been face-palming at Disney's upcoming film "Planes". The movie was scheduled to be a direct-to-dvd special, but somehow it got "upgraded" to be in theaters August 9th. I know it's a quick cash grab for the company, but the look of the film looks way too much like the work of Pixar. There are even going to be cars in the movie for crying out loud. On Disney's part, I think Planes is a bad move for their reputation, but a good move towards entertaining little kids. Hopefully they won't go making films based on every type of vehicle or other inanimate objects.

I'm not a fan of Cars or Planes either, but since the movie isn't out yet, I can't really complain about it. I believe the only unnecessary Disney movies are the crummy direct to video sequels.

i've never seen any of the other lion king movies. are they worth the time?

I've seen all the cars and the new planes movie I saw an actual trailer for the movie now I reall don't want to see it. For some reason it reminded me a lot of the first cars movie. Cause of like the same characters forms cars just transformed into planes, don't want to give a whole lot away but for me most likely not going to see planes

I actually like both Cars films but I think they're both unnessicary. Planes also.

I only liked the first Cars. The second had nothing to do with the first one, and the story was a mess.
