I think all the emotions should've been female characters. It just feels weird having an old grumpy guy and a dweeb-looking scared dude inside the head of a pre-teen girl. And the teaser poster sort of reminds me of the old PBS logo: http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/ ... 896f19.jpg

Other than that, I am very much excited about this film. So happy Pixar finally released a teaser for it. I'm sure the actual trailer will be played before Big Hero 6. Looks like Pixar is getting back on track with Inside Out. I hope for the best with this movie, and I will be seeing it in theaters opening day.

As someone minoring in psychology, I couldn't help but notice something. The five emotions actually are composed of five of the six universal emotions, ones seen in practically all cultures across the globe. Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger. Also notice that the main cast comprises of five of the six major colors of the rainbow (sorry indigo ) Red=Anger. Yellow=Joy. Green=Disgust. Blue=Sadness. Purple=Fear.

However, one universal emotion and one color are missing: Surprise and Orange. Also notice how there's an orange dot on the poster.

Crazy fan theory time: There's another character introduced at some point in the movie. He (likely to even out the boys and girls) will be Surprise, and be Orange.

Just a crazy fan theory though.

2015 sounds like a good year, having 2 Pixar movies released (the Good Dinosaur releases late 2015)! This movie seems really unique, and I can't wait to see it. I love how the trailer showed the old Pixar movies!

@OpossumGuy, I wouldn't be surprised if Pixar throws in a surprise character (who literally is the emotion of surprise). Did I say the word surprise enough in that last sentence??

Time will tell! Only 8 more months..

I hope The Good Dinosaur still happens and doesn't become a cancelled project. I also hope the same for Pixar's Dia de Los Muertos movie they have planned.

I think Surprise could be another emotion that will be orange (he could also be called excitment) when Riley gets surprised and then he pops up in her head and he is really surprised about everything like " WHOA!!! Look at this place!" "OMG I am orange!" It would also make sense since he is a surprise emotion
