When I saw the unfinished clip of the dinner scene from Inside Out at the D23 Expo in 2013, I thought this was going to be the best Pixar movie EVER and my new favorite (Monsters University is currently my favorite, followed closely by Cars).

However, this last week I picked up the Inside Out Big Golden Book, and was disappointed with some of what was in the plot. I'm sure there's a lot of humor that wasn't able to make it into the book, and the characters are still awesome to me, but a couple of plot points will have me hesitating at the theater door.

My mom and sister read the book and had the same, "Hmmm..." reaction as I did.

Hopefully it will still be a great movie, as there was a lot of other fun and creative ideas in the Inside Out world. And I'm definitely looking forward to the Disney Infinity Inside Out Play Set. To paraphrase the tag line from 2.0, "Bring on the emotions!" :lol:

In a way, I'm surprised that there isn't a fifth emotion, a pink one representing love. That could have been quite entertaining. Oh well, maybe for a sequel. :lol:
