Just checked Flixster, Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 100%!

I think the main issue is that Joy is way too controlling compared to everyone else.

@Elvis, Um... maybe watch the movie to understand why? I don't think the conceit of the characters' relationship would be classified as an "issue" lol...

She can't help it. She is the factor to keep Riley happy, and why wouldn't someone want to be happy as much as possible?
Besides, the plot of the movie is Joy and Sadness get locked out of the control room, leaving Anger, Fear, and Disgust to control Riley. Not a good combination. At all.
The movie looks like it will really delve into the factor of depression, something a lot of people can relate to. It also displays the relationship between Joy and Sadness, which will be very interesting.

I wish Joy in my brain would be a little more controlling. Then Fear and Sadness could have some more time off. LOL
