not necessarily, making a TV cartoon hasn't stopped Disney from releasing another movie in theaters.

I've seen the first episode of the series.
Well, it's actually a mini movie that shows Baymax being reconstructed and the team returning to full active status.

Yama returns as the lead henchman to an unidentified villain.

I wonder if the series is going to be officially acknowledged if they ever make a Big Hero 6 sequel?
It would be nice to have the series officially canon instead of a non-canon side project.

I am really looking forward to this series.
