I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the team that made "Tangled", "Wreck-It Ralph", and "Frozen" (Whom I shall call the "Tangled Crew") continually have cameos from "Tangled" in their films.
I know that Vladimir had a cameo in "Wreck-It Ralph", and now Rapunzel has a cameo here.
Pretty cool, just like classic Disney.
Not dead, just busy. :)

I've now seen Frozen.

Although the cameo is short, there's more to it then I expected. :D

I always assumed you'd just see Rapunzel from behind, so it wouldn't be obvious who she really was.
But when Anna walks up to her, she shifts position to look at Anna and you can clearly see her face, leaving you under no illusions who exactly you are looking at.

And there's a hidden Wreck-It Ralph cameo as well.
It's much more subtle, but it is there nonetheless:

The sweets on the table closest to Anna are part of Sugar Rush. ;)

I'm thinking if Anna and Elsa ever got to Sugar Rush, there would be a huge problem.
They're both very fond of chocolate, to the extent they can detect it's scent all the way across a large room above all other olfactory sensations.
I'm assuming there would be a sudden chocolate shortage if they showed up in Sugar Rush.......
I wonder if Elsa can make frozen chocolate desserts.........

^ Yah, I was pleasantly surprised when Rapunzel turned her head and you could clearly tell it was her. Those Sugar Rush chocolates though... not sure about that one.

It's a flash look for them right as Anna is coming out of the gates.

I read an interview that explained the cameo. Simply put, (one of) the animator(s) involved in that scene worked on Tangled and snuck her in because they could. After the directors saw the scene for the severalth time and didn't notice the pair(!!) It was pointed out to them and requested not to be removed. And why not?!

I'm told "the Internet" is awash with rumours that Rapunzel is Anna&Elsa's cousin....

...unless it's a speculation based on the inter-marrying of noble households, and really alleging their fifteen-cousins twice-removed (or whatever) I don't buy. I buy related, but not necessarily direct first cousins.

Oh, and the crowd-sourced, generally poorly-written and ill-researched yet occasionally valuable and interesting article on Corona (where was the name given..?) at the Disney Wikia says Rapunzel's kingdom is in Germany and based in the 1780s. Is Frozen set in the same time period, or was the cameo out-of-sync...?
