The Hunchback of Notre Dame

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Postby OpossumGuy » Sun Sep 07, 2014 6:04 pm

I checked, and this movie didn't have a thread. But I'm here to remedy that!

This is honestly my favorite Disney movie, so it's sad that it's so underrated and literally has no presence in Infinity, haha. So tell me what you think of the movie!

Nice to see some others share the same opinion, haha. :)

But wow, if there's one thing above all else I love about THoND, it's the music. Just...wow.

That, and the entire "Sanctuary!" scene.

Just rewatched this again today, and man, it's as great as ever.

This movie truly is a work of art, in my opinion.

Hunchback is definitely one of the best Disney movies ever made and I wish Disney would go back to taking risks like they did with Hunchback. The soundtrack is probably the best Disney soundtrack. I love Hunchback so much, I remember the year it came out we went to Disneyland for vacation and I made my mum buy all the hunchback merchandise I could find.

Speaking of the Parks, I really wish Hunchback had more presence in them. Nowadays, pretty much the only thing there is Frollo for the Villain events. :/

Fittingly though, at least Disneyland Paris uses them more. But still, I'd love for Disney to just show this movie more attention. Heck, even in Infinity, there's STILL no Hunchback content (to my knowledge), despite being two games in. Would it kill them to give us Notre Dame? :P

I think because it was such a dark film, they try to stay away from it. Last year they had long lost friends week, which was a week of getting to meet characters that are never at the parks, and they had a poll for who people wanted to see most and Hunchback had the most votes. They had Esmeralda, Frollo, and Clopin and their line was the second longest, after Ping (Mulan's male counterpart).
