In addition launching an Android version last Friday, the app also offers new Marvel content and some spooky gifs for Halloween.
Disney Press Release: Disney Interactive today released an Android version of Disney Gif, an app that lets users easily send gifs and emojis of their favorite stories and characters via text, email, and other messaging and social platforms. Featuring content from Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney*Pixar, ABC and Disney Parks, Disney Gif has something for everyone.
Whether they're feeling happy, sassy, or villainous, users can find the perfect gif in the app's curated galleries, which are categorized by emotion. They can also search by franchise, with designated sections for Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney*Pixar, and ABC that are easy to browse. More than 1,000 gifs are live now, and more are added regularly - keep an eye out for new additions in the featured section.
The Marvel category debuted on iOS earlier this month and features key scenes from Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as Marvel's Ant-Man. Fans can select from dozens of Marvel gifs, selecting and sending clips of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Nick Fury. In honor of Halloween, Disney Gif is also serving up some special spooky moments, including gifs of Disney villains. Some are live now and more treats will be added throughout the week.
Disney Gif has also been integrated directly into Facebook Messenger, so users can easily send friends their favorite moments from Disney, Star Wars, Marvel and more. Gifs and other social content have helped grow Disney's social network, which has more than 1 billion "likes" across character and film pages on Facebook.
To bring the magic to your messages, download Disney Gif from Google Play, the Apple App Store or the Amazon App store.
